Brouwers is a renowned firm within the logistics sector. We owe this, amongst others, to our versatile services. At Brouwers, transport and logistics come together, therefore we are able to guarantee an efficient way of handling the logistics process. Brouwers has been known as a reliable and flexible partner since 1953. We like to go the extra mile for our customers and come up with suitable solutions for the changing needs in this continuously fluctuating market.
Security
Our warehouses are secured according to Borg 4. Which means that the alarm system is approved by the European Commission in terms of reliability and security. There is both thermal and optical camera surveillance and these security systems are present in the warehouses as well as outside on the grounds. The fencing around the Brouwers premises is secured by means of a security fence system with detection and high voltage. In the event of any detection in the camera surveillance or electric fence detection, the alarm centre is informed immediately.
Sustainabilty
At Brouwers we like to think about reducing our ecological footprint. For example, our warehouses are equipped with approximately 23,000 m2 of solar panels, enabling us to generate all our own electricity. In addition, all our transport units are equipped with at least Euro 5 engines. This has been done to reduce the emissions of our vehicles. Finally, our premises are climate neutral, which means that our activities do not have a negative contribution to the climate.
Strategy location
Brouwers is located on the De Rietvelden industrial estate. De Rietvelden is a business park that is positioned directly next to the A59 motorway, with the A2 motorway available within 5 km.
We are located next to the inland terminal of Den Bosch which is situated by the Dieze river. The Dieze is in direct connection with the Maas, so the port of Rotterdam is also easily accessible.
Our history
-
In 1953, Brouwers started bringing parcels through Engelen, a village next to 's-Hertogenbosch. These packages were delivered by horse and cart to companies and individuals.

-
In 1955, Brouwers purchased its very first truck. The second truck followed shortly after.
1955
-
In addition, Toine and later Joris Brouwers both joined the company. They started as drivers and mechanics.

-
Brouwers is continued by Toine & Joris Brouwers.
1989
-
Brouwers moves to the Maaspoort in ’s-Hertogenbosch, a warehouse with approximately 2,000 pallet spaces. The fleet then already had 10 transport units.
1994
-
In 2000, Brouwers moved to industrial park De Brand. This location provided around 10,000 pallet spaces. This is where the innovation in logistics really started.

-
Opening van de tweede locatie op industrieterrein de Vutter. De opslagcapaciteit is tevens gestegen naar circa 18.000 palletplaatsen.
2008
-
Relocated and centralized at De Rietvelden industrial park. The total storage capacity went up to 28,000 pallet spaces.
2018
-
In 2020 we had the grand opening of our second warehouse, which allowed us to further expand our logistics operations and increase our pallet storage from 28,000 to approximately 55,000 pallet spaces. In recent years we have grown rapidly, but we have certainly not forgotten our values. We are a family business, based on trust and personal contact.
